Tiara Mack is not backing down after recharging her campaign for votes with a twerking video that she posted to her official senator page on TikTok @mackdistrict6. As you can see she is upside down, head in the dirt twerking her ass off and she completed that twerk session with a proud “Vote Senator Mack“.
As you can imagine, people are having mixed feelings about it; some are praising her for her bravery and her “out of the box” marketing tactics, while others are downright calling her out for being so “low-down” as a senator. However, she’s not phased by the negative comments and have made several videos responding to some of the people who have disagreed with her way of garnering votes, and have pretty much let them know they should go find something better to do than lecturing her on how she should do, whatever.
And it seems to be working short-term for Tiara. Her Instagram page was at 4k followers prior to her twerking and today it’s at 12k heading towards 100k. Not sure how it will perform long-term or if it will even translate to votes but we’ll just have to wait and see. She is very confident she will be re-elected to the senate, as she said being a Senator has nothing to do with how one dresses or operates plus she is Ivy League Grad qualified and her constituents love her just the way she is.
What do I think about this? I think there has to be a better way to getting her message across and garnering votes. This ain’t it!

I’m sorry to say but it looks like we are all heading to hell in a hand basket here in America. Everyone is acting bad – from the top to the bottom and the bottom to the top, it’s all a mess where anything goes and the result is hate, neglect, depression, lack, selfishness, nonchalance, mvrdering children and the vulnerable, just a crazy mess. I don’t see any way of us getting out of this before it’s too late. I’m actually quite scared!!!

She’s a beautiful woman, highly educated, her constituents adore her, she didn’t need to do this. Senator Mack you can be a real person without twerking on your head for votes and sharing it on a public platform. This is insane.
Sorry, her defense is poor. I know she said somewhere that she did the twerk for vote and also to fly in the face of the Roe v Wade overturned ruling “body autonomy” but I’m not so sure how her twerking on her head helps with those things. Can’t see the co-relation at all.
Briana the world seems to be going crazy with all kinds of drama and these supreme court appointees are not making it any easier for people who already think they are losing control of their freedom. So co-relation or no co-relation, people are literally losing their minds and it’s looking like this is just the beginning!
This is screaming low class and it’s shameful for a woman who should know better not to be doing better. I have a few friends in Rhode Island and they are not pleased with this here twerking campaign she has going on. They were loving her the way she was doing the work they wanted her to do, and now she’s messing up the whole plan. And the fact that she is not backing down but standing on her twerking campaign, shows that she is out of touch and not all the way there about what she should be doing. Just sad!
I have one question: what is that between her leg the right leg? Can’t be a tattoo that would be in poor taste and if it’s a birth mark she should cover it up before coming out here opening up like that. It’s distasteful looking.
I never knew I would live to see a day when a senator – whether the whole US or State Senator – would be on public platforms behaving like this and justifying it. And I know she is younger than the normal senators but at the same time she’s old enough to know how to behave as a public person. She’s not an entertainer getting paid to twerk on her head, she’s a darn senator – representing the people of RI.
Sad day in hell if I vote for her after this! Education and all the other goody goody stuff be damned. This trumps everything she built, for me!
I’m very disappointed and more ashamed to be a Black woman. This should never be happening!

Listen, if people are free to be whatever they want to be – man or woman, straight or gay – on any given day, then Senator Mack is free to do whatever she wants, be it twerking on her head or dancing naked in the streets. It’s F R E E D O M time!
