Kanye “Ye” West is not only an artist, he’s an innovator, and he is the innovator of using huge bags that resembles trash bags he calls “construction bags” to display his Yeezy clothing line so as to make the shopping process less formal.
This all went viral after a shopper tweeted a picture of the clothes being sold out of what looked like trash bags and captioned:
“This is how they are selling Yeezy GAP. The sales associates said Ye got mad when he saw they had it on hangers and this is how he wanted it. They won’t help you find ur size too, you just have to dig through everything.”
Of course there would be backlash, and there is backlash.

“I’m an innovator, and I’m not here to sit up and apologize about my ideas. That’s exactly what the media tries to do – make us apologize for any idea that doesn’t fall under, exactly, the way they want us to think.”
You heard what he said, and despite the backlash his Yeezy Balenciaga engineered collection continue to be sold out at GAP store locations nationwide.
What Do I Think About This? You know Kanye did recently say he’s inspired by the homeless, and I can’t quite see how someone could be inspired by the homeless but this is Kanye we are talking about and he sees everything outside of the “normal” box and well, just like the homeless digging through the trash – people with money will be digging through his trash look-alike “construction bags” to find clothes, and his bank account will continue to prove him right. He is an innovator (and a genius).

Errybody can continue sayin’ what they want to about Kanye! This man is a freakin’ genius!!! He’s an innovator, PR stunt perfecter, marketing G and a real artist and businessman. While y’all talking and busy criticizing, his bank account getting fatter and fatter by the very things y’all criticizing. Kanye gon’ be – regardless 💯%.
I get what the people are saying about this garbage type looking bag to shop from which seems to be teasing the homeless population and less fortunate and can really be triggering and traumatizing, but how can we blame a person for taking advantage of the capitalistic society he lives in – like so many others have without thinking about anyone or anything – but Capitalism?! People are out here doing worse things! Take Bill Gates, Fauci, and the entire network of lawmakers, doctors and pharmaceutical heads for example, they creating the problems on a mass scale and then providing the solutions on the same mass scale and benefitting massively 🤷 Sooooooo, let Kanye be!!!
I’m literally in shock that people are so accepting of everything some celebrities do and out her buying up these Yeezy clothes regardless of the presentation. And they’re not even that hot! WOW!
I got a few pieces and I can tell you they are made with some really good materials and are very comfy. So they may not look that hot to you, but all these people you see snatching them up are very much aware of this other aspect of them – comfortability! Plus, they’re Yeezy and from the one and only Kanye “Ye” West.
This whole thing will affect people based on their personal experiences or others close to them that they know of, and I understand all the perspectives shared on this page but my thing is, while we are here complaining Kanye stay busy making bag so why complain 🤷🏽
At this point Kanye can pretty much sell us empty water bottles for $500 each and we’ll run and snatch them up in a jiffy. LOL! The genius of Kanye West has us by the balls 😀
